The Don Mason Facility of Flow Cytometry

A University of Oxford core facility situated in the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology, the Don Mason Facility of Flow Cytometry offers state-of-the-art single cell sorting and analysis services to scientists from across the world.

What is flow cytometry?

Flow cytometry is a powerful technique that allows you to test multiple parameters of your sample (i.e immunofluorescence analysis, cell-cycle and proliferation analysis, analysis of transfected fluorescent tags and more) by fluorescence readout. The main advantages of this technique are accuracy and speed. You can analyse millions of cells in a matter of minutes and gather fluorescent data for every single cell you run through the analyser.

What we do

The Don Mason Facility of Flow Cytometry (previously known as the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology Flow Cytometry Facility) offers access to state-of-the-art flow cytometers and provides a bespoke cell sorting service, as well as comprehensive support on panel design, flow data analysis and cell sorting.

Use our online booking system to secure time in our flow cytometry facility or contact our expert team to learn more about how we can help you achieve your desired results.
